Mosquito Control Service in Bethesda Maryland

There is a mistaken belief that due to our extremely severe winter season and unusually cold temperatures that the mosquitoes won't be that bad this year ... WRONG! With all the snow and rain we have actually had, our water table is much higher than usual, ponds and lakes are overflowing their banks, and there is a great deal of standing water. Please remember as the temps heat up, mosquitoes only need a bottle cap loaded with water and 7 to 10 days to go from egg to biting maturity. This season you can help us help you.

Eliminate any standing water in your lawn. Throughout your planned appointment, our tech will attempt to knock over any noticeable standing water, but please help us help you by eliminating any standing water you see in between your regularly scheduled sprays.

When was the last time you cleaned the rain gutters? Sometimes when there is trouble in the lawn, which isn't apparent, it can occasionally be traced to backed-up rain gutters. Rain gutters are perfect breeding grounds for mosquitoes.

Remember that throughout your very first mosquito treatment we will normally eliminate 80-90 percent of the mosquitoes in your lawn. That means that if you have one thousand mosquitoes, you may still have up to 200. With subsequent spraying we'll continue to decrease the population in your lawn. And remember, if for some reason you happen to have a mosquito surge in-between treatments, for those customers on seasonal plans, just call us and we'll take care of it it complimentary of charge.

Here's to a terrific mosquito free spring and summer!
